A personalised follow-up treatment based on your previous consultation, assessment and treatment plan.
A focused cupping treatment tailored to your individual needs. Treatment may include dry cupping or moving cupping where clinically appropriate.

Some private health insurance and health cash plan policies may reimburse acupuncture treatment provided by a British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) member.
Coverage and claim requirements vary between insurers and individual policies. Please check directly with your insurance provider before booking. A treatment receipt can be provided on request to support your claim.
Home visits may be available depending on your location, individual needs and appointment availability. Fees are quoted individually based on the address and travel time required.

Personalised care
Your treatment plan may draw on one or more methods according to your individual needs.
Fine, sterile, single-use needles are placed at carefully selected acupuncture points according to your individual assessment and treatment plan.
Gentle electrical stimulation may be applied to selected acupuncture needles where clinically appropriate.
Specific points on the ear may be included as part of an acupuncture treatment to support the overall treatment plan.
Specialist needling techniques may be used where clinically appropriate, based on the area being treated and your individual presentation.
Cups are applied to the skin to create controlled suction. Cupping is also available as a separate appointment.
A smooth-edged tool is gently applied to the skin using controlled strokes where clinically appropriate.
A traditional warming technique using moxa, offered where clinically appropriate and where available.
Your treatment plan
Where clinically appropriate, additional treatment methods used as part of an acupuncture appointment are included within the appointment fee at no additional charge. Moxibustion is offered where available.

New patients should normally begin with an Initial Consultation & Acupuncture Treatment. Follow-up appointments are intended for patients who have already completed their initial consultation with Maggie.
