Hello, I'm Maggie

Welcome to Maggie's Acupuncture.

I'm a qualified acupuncturist based in Stockport with a background in Clinical Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology. I provide personalised acupuncture treatments in a calm, professional and welcoming environment.

I first came to the UK over 23 years ago. Since then, I have studied, worked and built my life here, developing a deep appreciation for compassionate, patient-centred healthcare. My journey from clinical medicine to acupuncture has strengthened my belief in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.

Outside the clinic, I enjoy hiking, yoga and playing tennis. These experiences remind me of the importance of balance, resilience and wellbeing—values I bring into every treatment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Clinical Medicine

    Five-year medical degree in China, providing a strong foundation in clinical assessment, diagnosis and patient care.

  • MSc Clinical Pharmacology

    University of Glasgow

    Advanced postgraduate study in medicines, evidence-based healthcare and clinical research.

  • BSC (Hons) Acupuncture

    Completion expected August 2026

    NADA GB Certified Practitioner
