Consent & Safety

All treatments at Maggie’s Acupuncture are provided in a professional clinical setting.

Single-use sterile needles are used for every treatment.

Before treatment, patients will be asked about their health history, medications and current symptoms to help ensure safe care.

Patients should inform the practitioner if they:
• are pregnant
• have a pacemaker
• have a bleeding disorder
• are taking anticoagulant medication
• have any serious medical condition

Acupuncture may occasionally cause mild temporary effects such as slight bruising, tenderness, dizziness or fatigue.

By attending treatment, patients consent to receiving acupuncture care and understand that results may vary between individuals.
